Coaching Staff

Coaching at the club is run by Alan Doyle, Head Coach, who is supported by a large number of volunteer helpers, the majority of whom are parents of club swimmers. We are committed to building and developing our team of coaches and helpers through training programmes, accredited courses and continuous professional development. In addition to working poolside during training sessions, coaches also support swimmers at competitions. As part of our child welfare policy, we ask all coaches and helpers to go through a CRB check before they work unsupervised with swimmers. Most of our coaches and several of our poolside helpers hold the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers and Coaches from the Royal Life Saving Society.
