CHAIR: Joan Keevill

Joan was elected to the Chair at the AGM in October 2008. She joined the committee in 2006. She lives in Hemel Hempstead. Joan is a consultant, facilitator and leadership trainer by profession and has now taken over the role of coaching development.
TREASURER: Andy Hingston

Andy is a Commercial Manager for a multi-national UK based Construction and Engineering company.

He was elected as Treasurer at the AGM in July 2012 after volunteering for the position at a parents meeting in order to put something back into the club following his daughter joining in 2011, although his connections to the club go back further than this as his Dad swam for the club and County back in the 50’s.

Andy officially took over as Treasurer and the financial management of all aspects of the club on the 1st September 2012.

HEAD COACH: Alan Doyle

Alan joined the Committee in August 2010 and was appointed Head Coach in September 2010, he has been coaching with the club since 2006 and was previously Group Leader for our Junior and Development Squads, he is also responsible for our club website.

CLUB SECRETARY: Annette Reed

Annette has been involved with the Club since 1987, and has been a Committee member for majority of this time, undertaking the role of Secretary between 1989 -1997 and again in October 2008. Annette orders stock for the Club swim shop. Annette worked for 30 years at Kodak Limited as a Buyer in Purchasing, taking early retirement in December 2004.

ADMIN and MEMBERSHIP SECRETARY: Andrew Farrow

Andrew is the club's admin and membership secretary. Andrew's daughter and son swim with the club. Andrew runs a small consultancy specialising in digital media rights. He has always hated swimming (and indeed participating in any sport) with a passion and is unable to explain how he comes to be doing what he is (but, says the Chair, he is extremely well organised and efficient and is slowly but surely bringing the club's processes into the 21st century!).

MEMBER: Charles Dainton

To anyone involved with swimming in Hemel, or indeed the County, Charles needs no introduction. He has been involved with HHSC for over 20 years and was Head Coach until September 2010. Charles has been a member of the Committee for the past 5 years and has an encyclopaedic knowledge of the Club’s history. During 2012 he held the position of Hertfordshire ASA President.

MEMBER: Carryl Baughan

Carryl is an active Committee Member and regularly supports the club as an Official at galas. She has overall responsibility for the training of our Officials, she is also active poolside coaching. Carryl has two daughters who swim at the club.

Mark Horrod - Member
Mark has been coaching at the club since 2004 and is a Level 2 Club Coach. He also holds a National Rescue Award and is a qualified timekeeper and judge. Mark spends 3 days a week at poolside, providing 4 hours of coaching to the County and Regional Squads. He also helps out with coaching other groups when the need arises.

WELFARE OFFICER - Jeanette Horrod

Jeanette was appointed Welfare Officer in May 2011, she has a daughter who was a former member of the swimming club.
