The HHSC Committee is responsible for the smooth running of the Club and its financial affairs, as well as the future strategy of the club. It meets on the second Monday of the month. The committee members are all volunteers and some are parents of swimmers. Swimmers and parents are encouraged to give feedback to Committee members or raise any concerns through them.

If you would like to get involved at committee level, contact the chairperson for more information. Andrew Farrow This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it

CHAIR: Andrew Farrow

Andrew was elected Chair in July 2015 having previously been Membership Secretary. Andrew's son swims with the club. Andrew runs a small consultancy specialising in digital media rights. He has always hated swimming (and indeed participating in any sport) with a passion and is unable to explain how he comes to be doing what he is.
janet   VICE CHAIR: Janet Davies

Janet has three children who swim with HHSC and has been seen regularly on the balcony and poolside at competitions since 2008.  She was elected as Vice Chair in July 2014 and is hoping to help HHSC become the top club in Hertfordshire.  She passionately believes that the swimmers in the club should be aiming to be the best and fulfil their potential.
  TREASURER: Andy Hingston

Andy is a Commercial Manager for a multi-national UK based Construction and Engineering company.

He was elected as Treasurer at the AGM in July 2012 after volunteering for the position at a parents meeting in order to put something back into the club following his daughter joining in 2011, although his connections to the club go back further than this as his Dad swam for the club and County back in the 50’s.

Andy officially took over as Treasurer and the financial management of all aspects of the club on the 1st September 2012.
