400IM time trial

34 swimmers gathered at Hemel on Thursday night for a very successful 400IM time trail, 15 swimming the event for the first time.  There were 27 PB's, 11 County qualifying times and 1 time fast enough for Regionals (if the event had been licensed!).

It's a little invidious to name names, but special mention should be made of the ten year old's - Eleanor Bevan, Holly Carter and Shona McKenna - who swam the event for the first time; of Kevin McKenna the only master to enter, improving on his PB from last year; and Aimee Abrey, Grace Rayner, Paige Wilding and Emily Jelfs who treated us to a superb race which perfectly illustrated how significantly the advantage can shift in this event across the different strokes.
